Sentinel on Fifth is a boutique luxury apartment complex housed in a restored historic building in downtown London, Kentucky — 10 contemporary units with modern finishes and preserved historic character. I took on this project end-to-end: building the website from scratch, developing the brand identity, and creating all marketing and advertising materials.
Website
I built the full sentinelon5th.com website independently using Wix, designing and developing every page from the ground up. The site covers the full prospective tenant journey — from discovery to application:
Homepage — brand introduction, lifestyle photography, floor plan previews, and a 3-step move-in process
Floor Plans — detailed 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom layouts with renderings and apply CTAs
Amenities — showcase of unit features and building highlights
Downtown — neighborhood guide positioning London, KY as a destination
Apartment Guide — educational resource for prospective renters
History — the story of the building's industrial past and renovation
FAQs — answers to common leasing questions
Contact / Apply — inquiry form and direct application flow
The site is live at sentinelon5th.com and fully functional for lead capture, with office hours, contact info, and social links integrated throughout.
Brand Identity
Developed the full SO5 brand from scratch, including:
Logo — the SO5 mark combining the property initials with a clean, modern aesthetic
Color palette — earthy olive greens, warm taupes, and deep charcoal reflecting the building's historic-meets-modern character
Brand voice — positioned as luxury with small-town warmth: "Elevated living, small-town charm"
Marketing & Advertising
Facebook Ad Designed a print-quality Facebook ad to drive awareness and lead generation during the pre-leasing phase. The ad featured the moodboard collage, interior rendering, pricing range ($900–$1,900), and a CTA directing to sentinelon5th.com. Key message: "Limited availability — expected move in as early as March 14th!"
Merchandise & Branded Assets Designed a full set of branded collateral including:
Business cards — front and back with SO5 branding, contact info, and address
Vintage-style t-shirt — brand merchandise for staff and property promotion
